skill, and sustainable enterprise.

From lifeguard training that saves lives, to micro-farming projects that spark hope, to water sports that unleash new talents-our mission is simple: Empower Malindi’s youth to lead, thrive, and make a splash in their own community.

Buntwani Beach Youth Group was founded by friends born and raised in Malindi, a vibrant coastal town whose beauty is matched only by the resilience of its people. Having experienced firsthand the challenges of relying on the unpredictable tourism industry, and overcoming personal struggles such as drug abuse, we came together to create new opportunities for ourselves and our peers.

Our group is based on a small plot at Buntwani Beach jetty, where we are building our headquarters and launching community-driven projects. We are officially registered as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) and are committed to empowering Malindi’s youth through lifesaving skills, sustainable micro-enterprises, and positive engagement.

We believe that when youth thrive, the entire community benefits. Join us as we build a safer, stronger, and more hopeful Malindi.
